Supporting Local Structures
Fondation Mérieux invested in the refurbishment of the Takeo regional hospital in Cambodia.
In order to help improve the quality of public health care in developing countries, Fondation Mérieux is building, renovating and equipping various local health structures, such as hospital clinical laboratories and regional care centers.
In Cambodia, Laos, Madagascar, Haiti, India… Fondation Mérieux is already involved with establishments identified on-site by experts working for the Foundation or its regional managers.
To ensure the longevity of these programs, Fondation Mérieux is using local people for each of these projects: builders, fitters, laboratory equipment suppliers…
