The meeting brought together 148 Asian Pacific experts from 21 countries to explore the latest vaccinology trends and current status in the Asia Pacific region, and discuss concerns and ways the vaccine situation can be improved.
This two and a half day meeting provided an overview of all vaccine preventable diseases and new vaccines in development. The program included sessions on:
- Current vaccines
- Novel and emerging vaccines
- Key priorities and prevention strategies in Asia
A prominent message that emerged from the conference was the importance to share and compare vaccination strategies and Immunization practices and developments between countries.
