Co-organized with the Collectif des Associations de Développement en Région Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (CADR) and the Institute of Political Studies of Lyon.

The event will take place Monday November 14 at 18h30 at the Grand Amphithéâtre, Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Lyon, 14 Avenue Berthelot 69007 Lyon.

Boris Martin, Editor in Chief of Humanitarian Alternatives and author of L’adieu à l’humanitaire (Éditions Charles Léopold Mayer, 2015), will moderate the discussion gathering the following speakers:

  • Samadia SADOUNI, professor at the Institute of Political Studies (IEP in French) of Lyon - in charge of the Diploma on the Contemporary Subsaharian Africa (DEASC in French)

  • Pierre MICHELETTI, professor at the Institute of Political Studies of Grenoble, ex-president of Médecins du Monde and vice-president of Action Against Hunge

  • Benoît MIRIBEL, General Director of the Mérieux Foundation and Honorary President of Action Against Hunger

  • Jean-Baptiste RICHARDIER, doctor, co-founder of Handicap International
