Contexte de la fonction
The mission of the Fondation is to fight the infectious diseases that affect vulnerable populations in developing countries, especially mothers and children, by building local capacities.
We work in over 20 countries worldwide, in regions prone to infectious outbreaks focusing on four objectives:
- Increasing vulnerable populations’ access to diagnostics
- Enhancing local applied research capabilities
- Encouraging knowledge-sharing and public health initiatives
- Improving conditions for mothers and children
To address major public health threats in Cambodia, we provide our expertise in infectious diseases, training clinical biologists and strengthening the national laboratory network, particularly by renovating clinical diagnostic laboratories.
Notably, we have built and equipped the Laboratory Rodolphe Mérieux in the University of Health Sciences, and continue supporting its mission. We support healthcare workforce enhancement and reforms programmes, and the national medical biology laboratory network.
