The meeting brought together experts from 23 countries (Canada, USA, UK, France, Pakistan, India, Gabon, Norway, Ireland, Ivory Coast, Lebanon, Russia, Nigeria, Portugal, Poland, China, The Netherlands, Lithuania, Sweden, Senegal, Mexico, Switzerland, Kenya) with the aim to increase and maintain vaccination uptake in high-, middle- and low income countries.
During this two‐day an half meeting, Institutions such as WHO, GAVI, China CDC, Immunize Canada, The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Emory University, Aga Khan University, Vilnius University, Columbia University, University of Lugano, University of Exeter, Indiana University, Anta Diop University, JSI, AFRIVAC, Lebanon Ministry of Health, IDRC, UCL, John Hopkins etc… and Industries such as Sanofi Pasteur and Janssen shared a broad range of experience in implementation research and practice and especially what is working now.
A prominent message that emerged from the conference was the importance to develop better and more effective interventions and to stimulate collaborations through networking.
